Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to apply a quality assurance system to work.Quality control is a process to ensure that significant variations in quality are kept to a minimum. Quality control in a power generation facility will focus on a set of procedures intended to ensure that personnel, plant and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently. Competency in this unit requires the ability to plan and prepare quality procedures, conduct quality system practices and initiate changes to quality systems. Individuals will, in general, work as an operator in a power generation facility. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply from this unit at the time of publication.Note: Workplace practiceThe application of the skills and knowledge described in this unit may require a licence or training permit to practice in the workplace where work is carried out on gas and electrical installations. Additional conditions may apply under state and territory legislative and regulatory licensing requirements. | ||
